Community

  • at ORLC – all are welcome! In addition to the regular church goers, often non-regular folks drop in on a Sunday morning, whether they are local or from away

  • we welcomed 14 new members during 2025, and are most delighted with their presence

  • after worship fellowship takes place in the hall – it continues to be a great way to stay connected or to make new connections

  • we are building as sense of community around music, through our coffee houses, concerts and the Forget-Me-Not Café, as well as occasional social events such as special meals, games nights and the Yuletide Feast

  • we joined with ecumenical partners to invite the Penticton & Area community to Easter morning Sunrise Service in the Japanese Gardens

  • we hosted the ecumenical Wise Elders’ sponsored Saturday Forum entitled A Changing Church in Changing Times as well as an ecumenical World Communion Sunday worship on October 4th & 5th
