Courageous Action

• we were able to extend our start up grant to carry on with the Forget-Me-Not Café through to the end of December 2025. We are currently discerning and engaging in partnerships to build strategies to help us carry on this ministry at ORLC through engaging local grant programs and focused sponsorship

• we courageously released from ministry here, our dear Pastor Larry, and Cathy, to the ELCIC in Winnipeg where he now serves as National Bishop. We are now looking into entering the call process or considering another interim ministry, as well as considering how to meet our immediate need for pastoral care

• we are working to develop our understanding of Truth and Reconciliation with our Indigenous neighbours (see also under Service)
